The Challenge

Following several unsuccessful attempts to recruit via traditional recruitment agencies, Altrincham based accounting firm, MBL, approached PACC to assist them in finding a suitable accountant to join their team.

The Solution

Before advertising the role, PACC carried out a number of semi-structured, research based interviews with top performing accountants at MBL in order to get a more in-depth understanding of the ethos and work environment at the company. We then reached out to our existing network of accountants and proactively researched a number of portals and social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, to identify a number of suitable candidates.

The Results

PACC successfully sourced a candidate that exactly matched MBL’s requirements. MBL were sufficiently impressed by the way we sourced the candidate, that they then asked PACC to find another Accountant using the same recruitment process.

Consultancy

The Challenge

Following a successful recruitment project, chartered accountants MBL engaged PACC to assist in providing performance coaching to its key managers and assisting MBL to understand the strengths and potential limitations of its team members.

The Solution

PACC conducted one-on-one coaching sessions with each key manager to assist them with their management style. We also conducted structured developmental interviews with each member of staff to measure their strengths and potential limitations and this was provided to the individual and their manager in a detailed report. PACC then assisted in producing personal development plans (PDPs) with each staff member following the developmental interviews.

The Results

All MBL staff received a report on their strengths and potential limitations and were able to produce a personal development plan (PDP) complete with actions that specifically targeted each individual’s potential limitations.
