Researched Based Selection & Consultancy
Disillusioned with traditional recruitment consultants and with a higher than average staff attrition rate, Manchester-based law firm, Glaisyers, initially approached PACC for assistance in recruiting a new Corporate Lawyer. Glaisyers had ambitious plans to grow their Corporate Department which at the time was made up of just one lawyer.
PACC conducted a series of semi-structured research based interviews with top performers in Glaisyers as well as an analysis of the company culture at Glaisyers. This was then followed up with a social media search to find suitable candidates using our tried and tested strengths-based selection process until eventually a suitable candidate was selected.
PACC successfully sourced a candidate that not only had the required experience but, most importantly, had the talent and aptitude to grow the department. The recruit proved adaptable and brought with him a portfolio of potential clients significantly boosting Glaisyers’s client base and potential growth.
As an extension of a successful recruitment exercise, Manchester law firm, Glaisyers, invited PACC to assist in developing an appropriate induction and onboarding process for the newly appointed employee.
PACC helped to develop a structured induction process allowing for the new recruit to have a thorough onboarding into the business over a 45-day period. PACC spent time with the HR department responsible for the process and with key managers in the business to ensure the process could be more generally embedded into the organisation. We were also asked to initially mentor and coach the new recruit and his manager.
PACC provided Glaisyers with a complete induction process which can now be adapted for future recruits. This was tested on the new Corporate Lawyer that we had helped to recruit. We then spent time with Glaisyers over the first couple of days to ensure that the induction ran smoothly and aided those involved in running the process.
